No - the anti-slip properties are manufactured into every tray. This means that every tray produced will be same, removing variation from the process.

One major advantage that SENSTEC has is that the anti-slip properties are made from the same material as the rest of the shower tray, so treat it like a normal shower tray.

A lot of tiles that are sold have an ‘R’ Value associated with them. The method for determining ‘R’ values comes from a German DIN standard. This is a ramp test. This ramp test requires that the person carrying out the test wears a predefined rubber boot, and that the contaminant used is engine oil. This is not relevant to shower trays. We measure against the ramp test DIN 51097 where the user is barefoot with a soap contaminant.
